Student Involvement in Decision Making at Boston College

Below is a spreadsheet of the student leaders currently involved in decision-making committees. You'll find that they have contact information for both the student and the administrator that oversees each committee. It is made up of administrators from different academic departments, one undergraduate representative and one graduate representative. Its basic mission is to improve library services.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it ,howellbu@bc.edu A group of administrators have gathered in the fall of 2008 to discuss the economic challenges that some Boston College students face around the issue of extracurricular participation. Some low income students are unable to pay for and participate in formative activities that make up a significant part of the student culture and BC experience: retreats, service trips, freshmen welcome week, senior week, and athletic events to name a few. All of these require fees ranging from $100 to $1000 and although many offices will waive fees, students who are not well connected may not know this or be willing to ask for help.....The mission of this group is to provide access for low income students to participate in formational Boston College extracurricular activities.
