Homecoming Tickets Now on Sale!

HOMECOMING 2008
Ready for an awesome night of fun and dancing? Tickets for the annual Homecoming Dance go on sale TODAY! Buy your tickets on the day they are available to your class, then come to the Mod Lot on Saturday, October 25th, from 9:30PM until 1:30AM to enjoy dancing, free food and a cash bar for students who are 21+. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the Robsham Box Office from 8AM until 12PM starting on October 15th and ending on October 21st. Visit UGBC.org/homecoming for information on validating your BC ID for the cash bar and to check which date your class can purchase tickets. Sign the “Conscious Consumer” pledge to receive a free water bottle, and carry your water bottle everywhere to be “spotted” by UGBC Street Team members and receive coupons for free refills! Financial Crisis Forum

FINANCIAL CRISIS FORUM
In collaboration with the Deans' Offices of the College of Arts and Science and of the Carroll School of Management, UGBC will be hosting the Financial Crisis Forum on Thursday, October 23rd, moderated by Dean David Quigley. Professors from CSOM and A&S will discuss with students the current financial crisis, its affects on the job market, America’s role in world politics and the bailout plan recently passed by Congress and the Bush Administration. Come to McGuinn 121 at 7:30PM to talk with Prof. Peter Ireland (Economics Dept.), Prof. Kay Schlozman (Political Science Dept.), Prof. Bob Murphy (Economics Dept.), and Prof. Philip Strahan (Finance Dept.) about the subject that is on everyone’s mind.
