November is Unity Month!

GROWING UP IRAQI IN THE UNITED STATES
As part of Unity Month this November, come hear four American born women share their stories, reconciling the bittersweet reality of warring worlds represented by their surroundings and their heritages. Tamara Jafar, a senior at Harvard University, Lorraine Ali, Newsweek Senior writer and former Rolling Stones writer, and Farrah Sarafa, a poet and teacher, will be speaking on Wednesday, November 5th at 7:30 PM in Higgins 310. BOOK DRIVE AT THE NOTRE DAME HOCKEY GAME
Support National Education Week (November 17th- November 21st) while cheering on Boston College Hockey! The Student-Athletic Advisory Committee and 4Boston will be collecting new and gently used books directly preceding the Boston College vs. Notre Dame Men’s Ice Hockey match-up on Friday, November 7th at 7PM. Donated books will be distributed to local schools, hospitals, and shelters for needy children and teens. Grocery Shuttles Run Every Sunday!

GROCERY SHUTTLES
Want an easy way to stock your fridge? UGBC’s weekly Grocery Shuttles are a fantastic resource! Conveniently leaving Conte Forum EVERY Sunday, buses transport students to and from Star Market on Beacon Street. Shuttles eliminate the hassle of carrying groceries back to campus by giving you easy access to the grocery store. With buses now running from 1:00PM until 5:00PM, students with or without a mean plan have ample time to shop. Whether you want snacks or cooking supplies, UGBC’s Grocery Shuttles are here for you! Course registration is just around the corner! Make sure you take the right classes by using UGBC’s Professor Evaluation Profile system, also known as PEPs. Visit UGBC.org/PEPs to figure out how professors structure their classes and what fellow students think of the classes they’ve taken. Also, submit your own PEPs for classes you’ve taken this semester! Help out your classmates and make the right decisions during registration in November and December. Questions? Want help registering for classes? eSyllabus is up and running for Spring registration. Now you get to see syllabi before you register for classes!
